We are proud to announce that Air Tahiti Nui is confirmed as the Presenting sponsor of the Stand Up World Tour event to be held in Tahiti, from 22nd - 30th May. Tahiti has a rich heritage in both surfing and paddling, and given its expanse of lagoons and high performance surf found on its outer reefs, the Stand Up World Tour is extremely excited to be visiting the spectacularly beautiful island chain of Tahiti.

Those athletes who live for powerful lefthand barrels are counting the minutes to be down in Tahiti showing the world what they are made of in some of the most challenging waves in the world: local heroes such as Arsene Harehoe, Vetea 'Poto' David, Raimana Van Bastolear, Guillaume Bourligeux, Patrice Chanzy and Didier TinHin will undoubtedly be providing tough competition for the visiting athletes, but you can expect some equally tough competition from the likes of Aaron Napoleon, Kainoa McGee, Ekolu Kalama (who was voted winner of the exhibition last year), expert barrel rider Duane DeSoto, but also goofy footer from France, Peyo Lizarazu - whatever happens, it promises to be a showdown of epic proportions and an unsurpassed experience for all involved and for our global audience to enjoy!
